A sexual problem i am having?

I have a bit of stress going on in my life right now, but its not crippling. None the less i am unable to keep an erection for my girlfriend, only when were about to have sex. I dont know if its nutritional or mental or what. I tried some GNC Staminol only four capsules but noticed no difference. Does anyone have advice and or suggestion regarding herbal supplements. I cant afford prescription stuff like viagra. Does anything REALLY work??

Quite clearly something is up.
Viagra or equivalents will only put a band aid on the problem.
Anxiety and stress are likely only masking a problem which could be systemic.
Most cases of erectile dysfunction are caused by poor blood supply to the penis although poor nerve supply can be a factor (I’m convinced many men in their 60’s with erectile dysfunction don’t have a blood supply problem but osteophytic growth onto the S1 nerve which impinges affecting penile function).
What other symptoms do you have?
Has their been any change in sensation?
Has there been any change in bladder control?
Do you have any other symptoms elsewhere in the body?
Stress can change your posture (along with blood chemistry etc) affecting the space between foramina where the nerves exit the spine.

Supplementing the dangers: What are the Dangers due to the use of Nutritional Supplements?

Supplements are categorized as food products and must clearly state on their packaging all the ingredients and their amounts.

Apart from excessive overdosing, which with any foodstuff or drink, however harmless, can cause problems that can be fatal, there seems no hard evidence to suggest that pharmaceutical grade supplements approved by the USFDA can be dangerous

A number of herbal supplements are recognized to have side effects in some individuals but then even Aspirin, regularly prescribed to thin the blood to avoid strokes, can be a cause of stomach ulcers.

Example of a food supplement: Nutrilite

Food supplements that contain herbs can have undesirable effects. Most reliable manufactures of supplements will have a Warning stating to check with a medical professional before taking the product. ie: if you are taking prescribed pain medication, you may be advised not to take ginseng. Ginseng raises blood pressure.
The new craze, krill oil is very beneficial for overall health. A doctor’s web site states that krill should not be taken with any aspirin based products, however. Because krill is excellent for heart, brain, joint health, etc., it can act as a blood thinner taken with aspirin based products. I was also given that information at the VA in Connecticut.
Most food supplememts free of herbs are generally safe.

Advantages of Green Tea

The advantages of green tea have been well known by those the live in Chinese and Japanese cultures have known for thousands upon thousands of years. However, it has only been over the last several years that people in westernized countries have began to realize the incredible nutritional benefits and advantages of green tea. It has become one of the most popular herbal supplements used in the world today.

The advantages are numerous. For instance, it offers nutritional benefits that can help many individuals lose weight, it can lower cholesterol, it can strengthen immune system and makes some excellent changes to a person’s cardiovascular system. The main reason that there are so many nutritional benefits to using green tea is that the tealeaves are very rich in antioxidants such as catechin polyphenols.

The reason the green tea is some much more advantageous is that is simply just water as well as phytochemicals and caffeine and very little else unless of course you add some other type of substance to it such as sugar or honey.

Drinking it is very beneficial as it contains close to half the amount of caffeine that you would find in a cup of black tea. It also contains close to one quarter of the amount of caffeine that you would find in a similar sized cup of coffee. This makes green tea a very healthful drink that would be perfectly ok to consume several times per day.

Since green tea is created by steam the teas leaves it is imbued with the additional benefit such as containing fluoride, which assists in maintaining excellent dental health. Since there are much lower levels of caffeine in the extract less nervousness and anxiety then drinks with more caffeine content.

With all the excellent advantages, you really do own it to yourself to learn all you can about this amazing drink.

The Benefits of Green Tea Extract

I am sure that most of you are aware of the benefits of drinking green tea. Green tea has become a huge hit around the world in the last several years. The majority of people are drinking it for its healing properties. However, did you know that green tea extract as a supplement also provides health benefits? Therefore, you can take a supplement that contains it as well. Not many people are aware of this nutritional fact.

One of the main benefits of green tea extract is that it helps to boost your immune system. With all the viruses and bugs in the air these days, boosting our immune system would certainly be beneficial. In addition, they can speed up your metabolism and burn fat more effectively.

A supplement that is high in antioxidants is one that will effectively fight the damage caused by free radicals. Green tea extract is one such supplement. Another benefit of the extract is that it does not contain caffeine, while the tea itself does contain caffeine.

One of the many benefits of taking herbal supplements is the synergy involved when taking several extracts blended. Green tea extract can be blended with other supplements. Therefore, the healing properties of several extracts or supplements blended together will be that much better.

What if you could buy a nutritional supplement that contained seventy-six different natural ingredients all carefully blended together including green tea extract. In fact, it is decaffeinated extract, which is much better for you because of the removal of the caffeine. All these ingredients work synergistically together to provide you with greater benefits.

An example of some of the ingredients is ginger, which helps your body absorb the green tea extract. Other natural ingredients include turmeric, which acts as an anti-inflammatory. Grape-seed extract is another of the ingredients; it helps to keep your capillaries in healthy order. All these ingredients work together to keep your body healthy.
